Argentina’s Consumer Confidence Index (ICC) rose 2.37% month-on-month in September 2026, reaching 41.8 points after a 1.08% decline in August. Among the main components, Future Expectations increased 3.80%, while Current Conditions edged up 0.33%.

By subindex, Personal Situation showed the strongest improvement, climbing 11.33% in September. In contrast, the other components fell: Durable Goods and Real Estate posted the largest drop (-3.42%), followed by Macroeconomic Situation (-0.75%).

Regionally, consumer confidence rose in Greater Buenos Aires and in the rest of the country, but declined in the City of Buenos Aires. The strongest gain was recorded in the Interior (+5.23%), followed by Greater Buenos Aires (+3.33%), while CABA registered a 6.78% decrease.

By income level, results were mixed: confidence among low-income households jumped 12.33%, whereas high-income households saw a 4.07% decline. On a year-on-year basis, the overall index increased 3.44%.
